Website development for construction companies and developers

Pricing: from 500,000 ₸

In construction, clients take their time and check a lot before deciding: completed projects, timelines, documents and progress on site. For a developer, the website is the main channel for selling apartments; for a contractor or design firm, it is a showcase of expertise that clients and tender committees study closely. Studio Nomad builds websites for construction companies and residential developers, design and engineering firms and modular building manufacturers, as well as construction industry portals.

Our projects include the BuildZone.kz design and construction portal, the Big-Stroyservice online catalog of modular structures, a website for the design institute KGCM (KazGIPROTSVETMET), a corporate website for the industrial services company HAS Industrial, a website for a US construction company and a website for the engineering company ProgressKazEngineering.

A construction company website costs from 500,000 ₸, the same as a corporate website. We write our own code without templates, work under a contract, and after launch provide a 24-month warranty with free technical support. You can pay in parts: installments for up to 12 months with no banks and no markup.

Website development for construction companies and developers

Websites we build for the construction industry

The construction industry is diverse: a developer sells apartments to private buyers, a general contractor looks for clients among companies and the public sector, a design institute proves its qualifications, and a manufacturer sells products. So we start the site structure with two questions: who is your client, and what should they do on the site?

Residential developer

A company website covering all your residential complexes, or a separate website for each one: apartment search, floor plans, an availability grid, mortgages, construction progress and online reservations. The goal is a request for a viewing or a reservation.

Construction company and contractor

A portfolio of completed projects, types of work, equipment and resources, licenses and permits, a section for partners and suppliers, and job openings. The goal is a request for a quote or an invitation to tender.

Design and engineering firm

Expertise, industry focus areas, completed projects with their locations and a project map. That is how the KGCM website is built: a corporate website for a design organization with a map of its projects.

Manufacturer and supplier

A product catalog with filters and product pages: modular buildings, steel structures, materials and equipment. One example is the Big-Stroyservice catalog of modular structures with search, categories and online ordering. If you need full online sales with payment on the website, that is an online store.

Construction portal

An industry resource with several user types: a document database, company directories, job listings and personal accounts. BuildZone.kz works this way. Projects like this fall under portals and web services.

Developer website: apartment search, availability grid, mortgages

An apartment buyer compares several complexes, studies floor plans and works out a budget, often with family and over several weeks. A developer's website should give them everything they need for that decision and not miss the moment they are ready to submit a request.

  • Apartment search by parameters. Filters by complex, phase, number of rooms, area, floor, price and completion date, plus sorting and side-by-side comparison.
  • Availability grid. An interactive chart of the building by floor and entrance with statuses such as available, reserved and sold. To keep the data in line with the sales team, statuses and prices are pulled automatically from your CRM or 1C.
  • Selection on the facade and site plan. The buyer clicks a building, then a floor, and sees the available apartments, which makes the search visual.
  • Floor plans. An apartment page with the layout, room areas, window views, finishing options and a reserve button, plus a PDF download of the plan.
  • Mortgage and installment calculator. Payment estimates for partner bank programs and the developer's own installment plan, with the option to send the calculation to a manager.
  • Construction progress. Monthly photo and video reports and a live webcam from the site. For buyers at an early stage of construction, this is one of the strongest arguments in the developer's favor.
  • Documents and neighborhood. Permits, information about the developer and the project, a map of nearby schools, kindergartens and shops, and transport links.
  • Online reservation. Reserving an apartment on the website with a payment via Kaspi or bank acquiring, as agreed with your sales team.

If a company has several complexes, we usually build a shared developer website plus separate pages or landing pages for each complex for advertising. They all run from one control panel, and apartments and prices are stored in a single database.

Websites for construction, design and engineering companies

For a B2B client, the website is a way to check a contractor before the first meeting. They look for proof of experience, scale and reliability, so we put the focus on projects and documents.

  • Project portfolio. Project pages with photos, purpose, area, timeline, the company's role and the work performed, with filters by project type, year and region.
  • Project map. An interactive map of where your projects are clearly shows the company's scale.
  • Services and focus areas. A separate page for each type of work: general contracting, design, cast-in-place concrete, utilities and finishing. These pages capture search queries well.
  • Licenses and documents. Licenses, permits, company details and a downloadable company presentation: what clients and tender committees ask for.
  • Request for a quote. A form for uploading drawings, specifications or estimates that goes to the responsible engineer or the CRM.
  • A section for suppliers and subcontractors, plus job openings, news and trade show participation.
  • An equipment or product catalog if the company also supplies machinery and materials, as on the website of the engineering company ProgressKazEngineering.

To keep the website current, all of this is managed in the control panel, so a new project can be added without a developer. For KGCM, we built the control panel from scratch, including meta tag editing for search engine promotion. For the US construction company, we built a CMS to a custom specification that lets the client create sections, subsections, portfolio projects and information pages on their own.

Our construction and engineering projects

  • BuildZone.kz: a design and construction portal with a database of technical supervision documents, sections for individuals and companies, job listings and materials for supporting construction projects. Built with Nuxt.js and Laravel.
  • Big-Stroyservice: an online catalog of modular structures with a custom design, search by keywords, categories and filters, categories and subcategories, product pages with specifications, images and prices, a cart and an online order form.
  • KGCM (KazGIPROTSVETMET): a corporate website for a design organization with a custom design, a responsive layout and a control panel built from scratch with meta tag editing for SEO.
  • HAS Industrial: a corporate website for a multi-profile industrial services company that is part of the HAS Global Logistic holding, with an overview of products and services, history, mission and values, product sections with photos and diagrams, news and events, and feedback forms on every page. Timeline: 40 working days.
  • US construction company website: a clean, strict design that matches the company's architectural philosophy and a CMS built to a custom specification for creating sections, subsections, portfolio projects and information pages. Timeline: 20 days.
  • ProgressKazEngineering (PKE.KZ): a corporate website for an engineering company with an equipment catalog.

Proven solutions from these projects carry over to new websites: a filtered catalog from Big-Stroyservice, a document library and sections for different user types from BuildZone, a flexible CMS for project portfolios from the US project, and meta tag management from KGCM.

Leads, CRM and promotion

Deals in construction are large and the client journey is long, so every request must reach a manager and not get lost between the website, phone calls and messengers.

  • One CRM. Requests from the website, complex landing pages, WhatsApp and calls go to Bitrix24, amoCRM or a custom system tagged with the source and project. For help choosing, see our article on CRM development costs and the business automation page.
  • Sync with accounting. Apartment availability, prices and reservation statuses come from the CRM or 1C, so the availability grid on the website matches the sales team's data. Learn more about Kaspi and 1C integration.
  • SEO for commercial queries. Pages for searches like "new apartments in Almaty", "apartments in [complex name]", "turnkey warehouse construction" or "building design services", with text, photos and prices. To grow further, there is SEO promotion.
  • Schema.org markup for the organization, projects and contacts, and the same address and phone number on the website, Google Business Profile and 2GIS.
  • Speed with heavy content. We compress renders, panoramas and photo reports to WebP, load them as the user scrolls and serve the right size for each screen, so the website stays fast even on mobile data.
  • Analytics and goals. You can see which complexes, floor plans and ad channels bring in requests and calls.
  • Language versions. Kazakh, Russian and English; the English version matters if you work with foreign partners and investors.

For ads in Google Ads, Yandex Direct and social media, we set up goals and pass UTM tags to the CRM, so each deal shows which channel and which complex the client came from. This lets you calculate the cost per request for each complex and reallocate the budget.

Stages, timeline and cost

  1. Brief and analysis. Client types, projects, the sales process, the CRM and 1C you use, and competitors' websites.
  2. Structure and prototype. Sitemap, the buyer's or client's journey, and prototypes of apartment search and project pages.
  3. Design. A visual style that conveys the character of the company and its projects, with responsive layouts for smartphones and tablets.
  4. Development and integrations. A control panel for projects and apartments, the availability grid, calculators, forms, CRM and reservation payments.
  5. Content and testing. Uploading projects, floor plans, documents and photos, and testing forms and calculations on different devices.
  6. Launch and support. Publishing, analytics setup and 24 months of technical support.

On our industry projects, timelines ranged from 20 days (the US construction company website) to 40 working days (the HAS Industrial corporate website). A developer website with an availability grid and CRM integration, or a portal, takes longer; we fix the exact timeline in the contract after the brief.

At the start we will need a list of projects with photos and descriptions, floor plans in PDF or DWG, renders and visualizations, apartment prices and statuses, licenses and documents, and access to your CRM or 1C if an integration is planned.

Cost. A website for a construction company, developer or design firm starts from 500,000 ₸, like a corporate website. The price depends on:

  • the number of projects, complexes and language versions;
  • apartment search, the availability grid and facade selection;
  • mortgage and installment calculators;
  • integrations with CRM, 1C and online reservation payments;
  • separate websites or landing pages for each complex.

A construction portal with personal accounts and several user types starts from 800,000 ₸; see portal development. Development can be paid for in stages with installments with no banks and no markup for up to 12 months; the term depends on the project. You can estimate the budget in advance on the order a website page, and market benchmarks are collected in our article how much a website costs in Kazakhstan.

Why Studio Nomad

  • Experience in construction and related industries. A construction portal, a modular structures catalog, websites for design, engineering and industrial companies, and a website for a construction company in the US market.
  • Website and systems from one team. Beyond the website, we can build a CRM for your sales team, a buyer's personal account or a portal on a shared architecture.
  • Our own code without templates and a control panel where your staff add projects and update apartment prices and statuses themselves.
  • In-house team: design, development and SEO, with an office in Almaty.
  • Work under a contract, with a 24-month warranty and free technical support.
  • Over 70 projects in our portfolio.

If your company already has a website that is outdated or does not bring in requests, we will start with an audit and propose a redesign: we will update the design and structure, move your projects over and set up 301 redirects from old URLs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a construction company website cost?

From 500,000 ₸, like a corporate website. The price depends on the number of projects and complexes, apartment search and the availability grid, calculators, CRM and 1C integrations, and language versions.

Can you build an apartment availability grid that updates automatically?

Yes. Apartment statuses and prices can be pulled from your CRM or 1C via API, so the grid on the website matches the sales team's data. Without an integration, a manager updates statuses in the control panel.

Do we need a separate website for each residential complex?

Not necessarily. A shared developer website with pages for each complex plus landing pages for ads is often enough; a separate website makes sense for a large complex with its own brand.

Can we update projects and construction progress ourselves?

Yes. Projects, apartments, prices, photo reports and news are managed in the control panel without a developer.

Will the website work for a design firm or contractor that wins work through tenders?

Yes. We focus on the project portfolio, the project map, downloadable licenses and documents, and a request form where clients can upload specifications.

How long does development take?

On our industry projects, from 20 days to 40 working days. A developer website with an availability grid and integrations takes longer; we fix the exact timeline in the contract.

Can we pay for development in installments?

Yes, we offer installments for up to 12 months with no banks and no markup; terms depend on the project.
