Website development for financial and insurance companies
A financial company's client comes to the website with a specific question: how much will the policy cost, what will the monthly loan payment be, what are the investment terms, and can I do it all online? If the website answers in a couple of minutes and lets them apply right away, it sells. If it hides the terms in a PDF and asks them to "call the office", the client goes to a competitor. Studio Nomad builds websites for insurance companies, microfinance organizations, investment and leasing companies — with calculators, online applications, a documents section and client accounts.
Our portfolio includes the corporate website of the insurance company Centras Insurance, the Risk Expert online insurance website with premium calculators and application forms for its lines of insurance, the website of the investment company BCC Invest integrated with the bank's internal systems, an online lending portal for the microfinance organization CCLOAN, and Tayyab Auto, a portal selling cars on halal installment plans.
A website for a financial company costs from 500,000 ₸, the same as a corporate website. If you need a portal with online sign-up and client accounts, the benchmark is from 800,000 ₸. We write our own code without templates, work under a contract and provide a 24-month warranty with free technical support. You can pay in parts: installments with no banks and no markup, up to 12 months depending on the project.

Our projects in finance and insurance
Here is what we built in each project, based on the case descriptions in our portfolio.
- Centras Insurance — corporate website of an insurance company. Visitors can apply for any of the company's insurance products, download documents and reports, read news and find what they need with on-site search. We built a custom admin panel for pages and content, and applications go to Bitrix24 CRM.
- Risk Expert — an insurance company website built from scratch. Lines of insurance, and the products within each line, are added from the admin panel, and every section got its own form — a premium calculator or an application. When moving from the old website, we set up 301 redirects for every URL and carried out SEO optimization. In the second stage we took on a client account, tools for selling policies online and document workflow automation. Timeline: 50 days.
- BCC Invest — corporate website of an investment company: a custom design in the corporate style, sections about the company and its licenses, the range of investment products and investment terms, and an analytics section with news, reviews, videos and an expert blog. The website is integrated with the bank's internal systems for client data, investment products and transactions, and the company updates content itself through the CMS. Timeline: 50 working days.
- CCLOAN — a fintech portal for a microfinance organization, built from scratch on Laravel and Vue.js. Clients pass remote biometric identification and get a loan online without visiting a branch. Timeline: 80 working days.
- Tayyab Auto — a portal selling cars on halal installment plans, built on Nuxt and Laravel: clients can apply for approval straight from a smartphone, and the site has a convenient mobile version. Timeline: 15 working days.
- Glavbukh — corporate website of an accounting center, written from scratch: a custom CMS with non-standard categories, original copy, a mobile version and SEO optimization. Timeline: 30 days.
What a financial company website needs
An insurer, an MFO and a broker have different goals, but the principle is the same: terms should be clear without a phone call, and an application should take a couple of minutes. Here is what we plan for depending on the type of company.
Insurance company
A catalog of insurance products for individuals and businesses, a page for each product with terms, exclusions and the claims process, a premium calculator, an online application and, as the next step, buying a policy online with card payment. A separate "Making a claim" section explains what to do, which documents to gather and whom to contact. Plus documents, insurance rules, reports and news, as on the Centras Insurance and Risk Expert websites.
MFOs and online lending
A loan calculator with amount and term selection, a clear breakdown of the total cost, an online application form and a borrower account with a payment schedule and online repayment. For fully remote lending — remote client identification, as in the CCLOAN portal, where a loan is issued without a branch visit.
Investment and brokerage company
Descriptions of products and investment terms, market analytics and reviews, an expert blog, an information disclosure section, and a request to open an account or book a consultation. If products and client data are stored in internal systems, the website connects to them via API — that is how the BCC Invest project works.
Leasing, installments and auto finance
A payment calculator with down payment and term, a catalog of leased assets or cars, and an approval request from a smartphone. An example of this scenario is the Tayyab Auto portal with halal installment plans for cars. If you work with car dealers, see also our car dealer website page.
Banks and subsidiaries
For a bank, the website is usually part of a large ecosystem: online banking, a mobile app, processing. We step in where a separate product website, a campaign landing page or a subsidiary's website connected to the bank's systems is needed.
Accounting and consulting services
Here you sell expertise: service pages built around specific search queries, service plans, answers to frequent questions and a consultation request. We built this kind of website for the Glavbukh accounting center.
Calculators, online applications and client accounts
It makes sense to grow a financial website in stages: start with clear terms and applications, then add online sign-up and a client account in the second stage. That is how the Risk Expert project went too: first the corporate part with calculators, then the client account and online policy sales.
Calculator and application
The calculator works out a policy premium or a loan or lease payment using formulas and rates that your staff change in the admin panel themselves, without a developer. The result goes into the application, and the application goes to the CRM tagged with the product and source, so the manager immediately sees what the client wants. If pricing is complex and handled in an internal system, the calculator gets the result from there via API.
Online sign-up
Questionnaire, document upload, contract signing and payment — the client completes the entire journey on the website. For this we connect online payments via Kaspi and bank acquiring (see Kaspi and 1C integration), remote identification services and your internal systems. Your compliance team defines the checks and steps, and we implement them in the interface.
Client account
Active policies and contracts, payment schedule and online repayment, request history, downloadable documents, and policy renewal in a couple of clicks. An account and online sign-up are already portal territory, with a benchmark price from 800,000 ₸ — see portal and web service development. For returning clients, the account can also be offered in a mobile app.
CRM and internal systems
Applications should not get lost between the website, the call center and the office. Centras Insurance applications go to Bitrix24, and the BCC Invest website works with the bank's internal systems. We will connect your website to your CRM, 1C or accounting system via API, and if your processes do not fit an off-the-shelf CRM, we will build your own — see business automation, from 1,500,000 ₸.
Security, documents and trust
A financial website handles clients' personal data, amounts and documents, so we build security into the architecture from the first prototype.
- Secure connection. HTTPS across the site, form protection against spam and password brute force, and limited login attempts for client accounts.
- Roles and access. A manager sees only their own applications, a marketer only content, an administrator the settings. Staff actions are logged.
- Data storage. We choose hosting in Kazakhstan with personal data requirements and your security team's policies in mind. Documents uploaded by clients are stored separately from public files, with restricted access.
- Consents. Every form includes consent to personal data processing and a link to the privacy policy.
- Updates and backups are part of the free 24-month technical support, and after that they are covered by a support contract.
Trust also comes from transparency. Clients want to see the license, company details, financial statements, rules and rates, management and contacts. For this we build an information disclosure section with a document archive sorted by year and type, search and easy file uploads from the admin panel — like the documents and reports on the Centras Insurance website. Your lawyers and compliance team decide which documents to publish and in what form. We provide a structure where they are easy to post and find, and we plan time for approvals in the schedule.
How a financial website brings in clients
People search for a product, not a company name: "car insurance online", "online loan", "comprehensive car insurance price", "equipment leasing". So we build the site structure around products.
- A page for every product with a calculator and a form: such pages can rank for product queries, not just the brand.
- Answers to frequent questions on product pages remove doubts before a call and help the page appear in rich search results.
- Application analytics. GA4, Yandex Metrica and ad platform pixels with goals: calculator use, application, payment. You see which channel brings clients, not just clicks.
- Campaign pages — separate landing pages for promotions and new products in the same admin panel.
- Three languages. Russian, Kazakh and English versions with their own URLs and meta tags.
- Migration without losing rankings. When replacing an old website, we set up 301 redirects, as in the Risk Expert project, and carry over meta tags.
After launch, the website can be developed further with SEO promotion. If you already have a website, start with an audit: we will check speed, indexing, forms and the client's path to an application.
Stages, timelines and cost
- Research. We look at your products, sales channels, the client's path from calculation to contract, internal systems and security team requirements.
- Structure and prototype. Sitemap, calculator logic, application and client account scenarios. We fix features, stages and timelines in the contract.
- Design. A restrained, clear interface in your corporate style: terms and figures are readable at once, with no fine print.
- Development and integrations. Admin panel for products, rates and documents, calculators, forms, CRM, payments, internal systems.
- Testing. We check calculations at boundary values, forms, access rights and speed on different devices.
- Launch and support. Deployment to the production server, analytics, redirects from the old website, 24 months of technical support.
Timelines in our finance cases: Tayyab Auto — 15 working days, Glavbukh — 30 days, BCC Invest — 50 working days, Risk Expert — 50 days, and the CCLOAN online lending portal — 80 working days. We give the exact timeline after the brief and fix it in the contract.
To start, we will need: a list of products with terms and rates, calculator formulas, documents for disclosure, a brand book, and access to your internal systems and CRM or their API documentation.
Cost. A website for an insurance, microfinance, investment or leasing company costs from 500,000 ₸. The price depends on the number of products and calculators, language versions, integrations and the volume of documents. Benchmarks for related tasks:
- a portal with online sign-up, client accounts and complex calculators — from 800,000 ₸;
- a custom CRM or application processing system — from 1,500,000 ₸.
You can pay in parts: installments with no banks and no markup, up to 12 months depending on the project. Get a preliminary estimate on the order a website page.
